Sizzlin' Summer Nights...Cool Drinks...Great Food! World Class Live Entertainment! The Taste of Newport Has it All!

Celebrating its 23rd spectacular year in 2011, the delicious mix of great food, drink, music and fun will attract over 50,000 people to Newport Center Drive at Fashion Island for the party of the year. The three-day food, wine and music festival proudly presented by Wells Fargo and hosted by the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce will be held Friday, September 16th from 6:00pm to 11:00pm, Saturday, September 17th from 4:00pm to 11:00pm, and Sunday, September 18th from Noon to 8:00pm. There will be FREE parking in the designated structures at the Santa Rosa entrance, as well as available valet service.

The Taste of Newport serves up culinary masterpieces from nearly 35 of Newport Beach's finest Restaurants, as well as 15 premium wineries from throughout California, ice cold brews and delicious cocktails. The restaurants are truly spectacular, offering everything from barbeque seared ahi and tiramisu to prime rib and crème brulee. Tickets

Tickets purchased in advance will be offered at a discount. General Admission tickets will be $25 at the gate. Children under 8 will be admitted FREE. VIP Concert Tickets with up front reserved section seating will also be available this year.

Volunteering

The biggest party of the year cannot happen without over 900 dedicated volunteers at the event to pour wine, beer, sell tickets, etc. Volunteers receive an Official Taste of Newport T-shirt, FREE admission to the Taste on the day they work and have a great time (ask a volunteer from the past- they'll tell you what a blast it is!). Additionally, every volunteer who attends the volunteer orientation will receive another FREE Taste of Newport admission ticket to use on another day, or pass on to a friend. Admission includes all musical entertainment. Due to the size of the event, advance ticket orders may cease at any time prior to the event. Children 8 years and under will be admitted free. However, the promoters of this event stress that due to the high volume of people at the event, parents are discouraged from bringing children in strollers on Friday or Saturday night. No refunds for Taste admission tickets or eScrip purchases (although eScrip value can be refunded at the event during event hours only). Due to the nature of reserved section seating, VIP tickets are also not eligible for refunds. Beach chairs, coolers and personal beverages are strictly prohibited at the Taste of Newport. Bags are subject to search. Health code requirements prohibit animals at the event (special assistance animals are permitted). Failure to comply will result in denial of admission to the event.
