From humble beginnings 21 years ago, the Taste of Newport has achieved a status as one of the most widely recognized culinary festivals in Southern California. Showcasing many local fine dining opportunities, the Taste of Newport is a culmination of the energy and cooperation of over 35 restaurants, a multitude of sponsors and vendors, local media, almost 1,000 volunteers, and of course, tens of thousands of hungry attendees in search of great tasting culinary creations. Paired with world-class live entertainment, flavorful wines, rich tasting brews and refreshing cocktails, the Taste is truly one of a kind.

The Taste of Newport enjoys a unique partnership enjoyed with our valued Chamber members, the city, local businesses, residents and visitors. As an active member of the Newport Beach Community, you are working with a dynamic business organization that continuously strives to create a strong local economy and build a sense of community. We believe the Taste of Newport and other events, such as the Chamber-hosted Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade, or the Business Exposition, greatly add to these endeavors-and you can help.

Whether pouring wine or beer or helping in the ticket booths, as an event volunteer, this is an exciting chance to meet new people and have a great time. You will receive an official Taste of Newport T-shirt, free admission to the Taste on the day you volunteer, and another FREE admission ticket you or a friend can use any single day of the Taste (subject to attendance at the Volunteer Orientation).

Admission includes all musical entertainment. Due to the size of the event, advance ticket orders may cease at any time prior to the event. Children 8 years and under will be admitted free. However, the promoters of this event stress that due to the high volume of people at the event, parents are discouraged from bringing children in strollers on Friday or Saturday night. No refunds for Taste admission tickets or eScrip purchases (although eScrip value can be refunded at the event during event hours only). Due to the nature of reserved section seating, VIP tickets are also not eligible for refunds. Beach chairs, coolers and personal beverages are strictly prohibited at the Taste of Newport. Bags are subject to search. Health code requirements prohibit animals at the event (special assistance animals are permitted). Failure to comply will result in denial of admission to the event.
